கட்டுநாயக்க சர்வதேச விமான நிலையம் மூடப்படும் அபாயம்

கட்டுநாயக்க பண்டாரநாயக்க சர்வதேச விமான நிலையம் மூடப்படக்கூடிய அபாயம் நிலவுவதாக ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சி தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

மத்தள சர்வதேச விமான நிலையத்தால் இந்நிலை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளதாக ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சியின் பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் ஜயலத் ஜயவர்த்தன தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

கொழும்பில் இன்று இடம்பெற்ற ஊடகவியலாளர் சந்திப்பில் உரையாற்றிய அவர் இவ்வாறு குறிப்பிட்டார்.

கட்டுநாயக்க விமான நிலையத்தில் பணிபுரியும் சிலர் தற்போது மத்தள விமான நிலையத்திற்கு மாற்றப்பட்டுள்ளதாக அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

அத்துடன், கட்டுநாயக்க விமான நிலையத்தில் உள்ள உபகரணங்கள் சில மத்தள விமான நிலையத்திற்கு கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டுள்ளதென ஜயலத் ஜயவர்த்தன தெரிவித்தார்.

Bandaranaike International Airport to be shut down

There are threatening signs pointing to the closure of the Bandaranaike International Airport, UNP MP Jayalath Jayawardena stated today (March 14) citing the Mattala International Airport as the main reason for this threat.

He further stated that some employees of the Katunayake airport had been transferred to the Mattala airport already. Speaking at a press conference held today in Colombo, MP Jayawardena said added that some of the valuable machinery and equipment at the BIA had already been taken to the Mattala airport.
