ஆதாரமற்ற குற்றச்சாட்டுக்களே முன்வைக்கப்படுகின்றன!- இராணுவத் தளபதி -good joke!!

ஆதாரமற்ற குற்றச்சாட்டுக்களே முன்வைக்கப்படுவதாக இராணுவத் தளபதி ஜகத் ஜயசூரிய தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

ஜெனீவாவில் நடைபெற்று வரும் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் மனித உரிமைப் பேரவை மாநாட்டை இலக்கு வைத்து படையினருக்கு எதிராக போர்க் குற்ற மற்றும் மனித உரிமை மீறல் குற்றச்சாட்டுக்கள் முன்வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

எனினும், இந்தக் குற்றச்சாட்டுக்கள் இதுவரையில் நிரூபிக்கப்படவில்லை.

வன்னி மனிதாபிமான மீட்புப் பணிகளில் படையினர் மேற்கொண்டதாக சுமத்தப்படும் குற்றச்சாட்டுக்கள் குறித்து இராணுவம் இரண்டு விசாரணைகளை நடத்தியுள்ளது.

இந்த விசாரணைகளின் மூலம் குற்றச்சாட்டுக்கள் அடிப்படையற்றவை என்பது அம்பலமாகியுள்ளது.

எவ்வாறெனினும், போர்க் குற்றச் செயல்கள் தொடர்பில் ஆதாரத்துடன் முறைப்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டால் மீளவும் விசாரணை நடத்தி நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கத் தயார் என அவர் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.

போயகனே பிரதேசத்தில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்வு ஒன்றில் கலந்து கொண்ட போது அவர் இதனைத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

No clear evident on Lankan war crimes: Army Commander

Army Commander Lt.Gen.Jagath Jayasuriya stated baseless allegations made against the Lankan army in the UNHRC session in Geneva.

They fail to prove evident on these allegations. Army conduct investigations on war crime allegations reported during the humanitarian operation in Vanni district. This investigation clearly proved baseless allegations made against the Lankan army. However if any one submits the clear evident on war crime allegation we are ready to conduct investigations, commander said. Army commander made this statement while addressing an event at Boyogana area recently.
